What Are All These Weird Symbols and Stuff?
Just so you know... Sizing in the nursery trade doesn't make a whole lot of sense, even to us. You will see weird symbols and acronyms that are alien to you unless you are in the industry. Sometimes plants are sized by pot size, height, or even width. What's even more confusing- is that same plant in the same size pot my not look identical because different growers shape plants differently or the age of the plant.

- F36 = Flats of 36 plants
- 6 Pack = 6 plants
- #1 = 1 gallon
- #2 = 2 gallon
- #3 = 3 gallon
- #5 = 5 gallon
- #7 = 7 gallon
- #10 = 10 gallon
- #15 = 15 gallon (limit of 1 person handling safely)
- #20 = 20 gallon
- #25 = 25 gallon
- #45 = 45 gallon (limit of 2 people handling safely)
- 8' HT = Height in feet
- 2" = Diameter of trunk 6" from base of deciduous trees
- B&B = Balled & Burlap (very heavy- likely will require tractor)
- RC Bag = Root Control bag (very heavy- likely will require tractor)
- Clump = Multi-stem tree
